Add events in a case
Go to the Funeral Options page of any case.
Under Add Event choose the type of event.
Select a Date and Start Time
Then Add Event.
If you check the box for Pending Event Date, the event won't sync to a connected calendar.
Add service details like venue, service providers, and more.
Then Save!
The event will now appear under Service and on your Passare Calendar.
Add events to the Calendar
Add events directly to your Passare Calendar by going to Events in the navigation.
You may see different colored events on your calendar. The key at the top specifies event categories:
- Non-case related (yellow)
- Private Case related (red)
- Public Case related (blue)
To create an event, click on the day you'd like to add the event to.
The Add event modal will appear. Continue reading to learn about each of these settings.
Event settings
Configure event settings to keep your calendar organized and accurate.
Case & non-case events
To create a case event, search and select the case in the first field.
Then select the service type and check the box if it is a private event.
Case events added here will also appear on the Funeral Options page.
To create a non-case event, skip the first field and just name the event.
Event timing
Indicate whether the event is Date pending or All day with the corresponding checkbox.
Use Date pending if your event date has not yet been decided.
Use All day if your event spans across an entire day.
Reminders & frequency
Select options if your event needs a reminder or to be set as a repeating event.
To receive a reminder for this event, select a reminder time.
You can receive event reminders by email, text, or in-app notifications. Learn how to customize your notifications in Passare.
If this event should repeat, select the frequency: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
Each option will prompt you to make additional selections for your repeating event.
Daily events: Event can occur every 1 day, 2 days, etc. at the same time.
Example: Every other day at 10am.
Weekly events: Event can occur every 1 week, 2 weeks, once per week or multiple times that week.
Example: Every week on Mondays and Thursdays at 10am.
Monthly events: Event can occur every 1 month, 2 months, etc. on a specific date or certain week/day.
Example: Every month on the 25th or Every month on the 2nd Monday at 10am.
Yearly events: Event can occur on a specified month, date, or certain week/day.
Example: Every October 25th or Every 2nd Monday of October each year.
Location & service providers
For case-related events, you have the option to add the event location and service providers.
You can select multiple service providers and delete them by clicking x next to their name.
For non-case events, the location dropdown will show any visitation rooms added to your branch.

Add multiple events
Checking Add another event will save your current event and prompt a new one.
Once you are done adding events, simply uncheck this setting before saving your last event.
After all event settings are configured, click Add!
To edit a Non-Case Related Event, select the event in the Calendar.
Make necessary changes and save.
To edit a case related event, click the event and select the case identifier.
This will take you to the Funeral Options page within the case.
Select the event you'd like to edit, make changes, and save.
