End of Support of Internet Explorer
INTERNET EXPLORER USERS: While Microsoft continues to support Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, there are performance issues with Internet Explorer 11 that have been reported. Following Microsoft's recommendation, users will have a better experience using their new browser, Microsoft Edge.
As of January 31, 2018, Passare will no longer provide support for Internet Explorer 11 or earlier versions. We recommend that Internet Explorer users switch to Microsoft Edge or another supported browser before before that date, such as:
As of January 12, 2016, all previous versions of Internet Explorer, reached their EOS (End of Support) and no longer receive security updates or technical support from Microsoft.
Microsoft is actively migrating user to their new browser, Edge. As a result, Internet Explorer 11 has not received the support required to keep pace with the development of newer web technologies.
WHAT DOES 'END OF SUPPORT' MEAN?
When a Microsoft product reaches its EOS (End of Support), you can no longer expect to receive security or non-security updates, online technical support, or free or paid support from Microsoft for that product.
If you continue to use an unsupported version of Internet Explorer past the product's EOS, you will be vulnerable to any security issues that may arise, such as malware, viruses, and exploits triggered by hackers with the intent of stealing data from you.
HOW DOES END OF SUPPORT AFFECT INTERNET EXPLORER 11?
Internet Explorer 11 is the last major version of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 11 will continue receiving security updates and technical support ONLY with Windows 7, 8.1, and 10, but not future version of Windows.
