Configuring Discounts in Price Lists
In Passare, users have the ability to add discounts in their Price Lists.
To add discounts, users will go to Admin > Price List > Select Product > Product Pricing
Users will select the item as a Discretionary Price to enable the ability to change the discount within the Goods and Services screen. In the “Allow prices between” boxes, you will enter the lowest number in the first box and a zero in the second box.
Note: The negative number is lower than zero, and thus belongs in the first box of the discretionary configuration.
The default price can be any number in between the values, but it is recommended to set it at zero.
When configuring discounts (and entering discretionary amounts into individual cases), take moment to be sure that you have entered the amount correctly. Remember that discounts should always be entered into Passare as a negative dollar amount.
When you are entering a discretionary discount amount, be sure that the number is also negative or zero.
