Use this article if you need to log in to Passare or help a staff member get access for the first time

Sign in with email and password
Go to the sign-in page and enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
Unless single sign-on (SSO) is configured for your funeral home, you'll be asked for a password.

If you need to reset your password, click Forgot your password? under the password field, then follow the steps in the email you receive.

If your account is new and you never received the email with confirmation instructions, click Didn't receive confirmation instructions? on the sign-in page and enter your email.
If you’re not sure which email is linked to your account, check with your organization’s admin.

Password requirements
When you create or reset your password, it must:

Be 8–20 characters long

Include at least two of the following:
-
- Uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Lowercase letter (a-z)
- Number (0-9)
- Symbol, such as: ! " ? $ ?% ^ & * ( ) _ - + = { [ } ] : ; @ ' ~ # | \ < , > . ? /
Examples:

✅ Valid: Sunset2024! (uppercase, lowercase, number, symbol)

❌ Not valid: sunset (too short, only lowercase)
Single sign-on (SSO)
SSO lets your staff use their existing work login (such as Microsoft or Google) to access Passare.
✋SSO requires admin setup! SSO must be turned on for your funeral home before staff can use it. Learn how to enable SSO for your funeral home in our SSO setup guide.
If SSO is set up, just type the email address that's associated with your organization.

Click Sign In.
You’ll be redirected to your organization’s login page (Microsoft, Google, etc.) to complete sign-in.
💡 Need to sign in with password instead? On the sign-in page, click Sign in with password to skip SSO and enter your Passare email and password directly.
Invite new users (admins only)
If you're an admin, you can invite new users to Passare. Click Settings in your navigation.

Go to Organization > Users.

Next, click Invite a User.

Complete the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email address (this will be their login email)
- Which of your Organizations this user can access
- The user's Role within your funeral home, which controls their permissions
Then click Invite.


Passare will send an email invitation to the new user so they can set up their account and password.
Accept your email invitation (first-time users)
Check your email for an invitation from Passare.
If you don't see it, check your Spam or Junk folder. If you still don't see it, reach out to us at support@passare.com or (800) 692-5111.
Open the email and click Accept Invitation.

This will take you to a page where you can set up your account.
Create a password, re-enter it to confirm, and click Set my password.

After your password is set, go to the Passare sign-in page and sign in with your email and password.
Troubleshooting login issues
If you still can’t log in, here are some common issues to check:
Wrong email or password

Make sure you’re using the same email your admin used to invite you.

Try resetting your password with Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
No invitation email

Check your Spam/Junk folders for an email from Passare.

Ask your admin to confirm the email address on your user profile.
Account not confirmed

Click Didn't receive confirmation instructions? on the sign-in page to resend the confirmation email.
SSO issues

Confirm with your admin that SSO is enabled for your funeral home.

Try signing in with Sign in with password instead, if you have a Passare password.
