Manage Roles & Permissions for the Passare mobile app
Manage each role's access while using the mobile app.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Mobile permissions are managed from the Role manager page in the web version of Passare.
Manage Case pages
Select a role within your organization to open the Role manager page. Scroll down to find the Mobile App (beta) section and choose which areas the role should have access to in the mobile app.
These will appear as tabs in the navigation menu within a case.
💡Any area left unchecked in the Mobile App (Beta) section will be hidden in the mobile app's case navigation menu for that role.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Roles will only see the navigation menu for case types that have the Case Information permission enabled.
Pre-Need & Imminent-Need case permissions
⚠️IMPORTANT: The following example pertains to Pre-Need cases. Ensure permissions for Imminent-Need cases are set in their respective section.
From the Role manager page, select Pre-Need Basics to give the role permission to create Pre-Need cases in the app (This will be listed as Basic Info in the Imminent-Need Cases section).
Select Case Information to give the role permission to access the areas of the mobile app you selected in the Mobile App (beta) section.
💡 If Vitals and Tasks are selected in the Mobile App (Beta) section and Case Information is selected for Pre-Need cases, the role will see Vitals and Tasks in the case navigation menu.
If Case Information is unchecked AND Read-Only is unchecked, the navigation menu will be hidden for that case type.
Select Case Sidebar to allow the role to edit the Manage page in the app.
If Case Sidebar is left unchecked, the role will still have access to the Manage page but will not be allowed to make edits, and the pencil icon will not be displayed.
At-Need & Tade case permissions
⚠️IMPORTANT: The following example pertains to At-Need cases. Ensure permissions for Trade cases are set in their respective section.
In the At-Need section, select First Call to allow the role to create At-Need cases in the mobile app.
Select Case Information to give the role permission to access the areas of the mobile app you selected in the Mobile App (beta) section.
💡 If Vitals and Tasks are selected in the Mobile App (Beta) section and Case Information is selected for At-Need cases, the role will see Vitals and Tasks in the case navigation menu.
If Case Information is unchecked AND Read-Only is unchecked, the navigation menu will be hidden for that case type.
Select Case Sidebar to allow the role to edit the Manage page in the app.
If Case Sidebar is left unchecked, the role will still have access to the Manage page but will not be allowed to make edits, and the pencil icon will not be displayed.
Ability to add decedent tracking locations
Give a role the ability to create decedet tracking locations. In the 'This role can' dropdown, select Mobile: Can create decedent tracking locations.
Mobile-only users
Designate users as Mobile only for team members who solely require access to the mobile app.
⚠️IMPORTANT: Mobile only users will NOT have access to the web version of Passare.
On the Users settings page, click on the user you wish to grant mobile-only access.
Next, scroll down to find Mobile Settings and select Mobile Only User.
