Getting started with Planning Center Messages in the Passare Mobile App
📱 Heads up! Before you begin, make sure you have downloaded the Passare mobile app.

Locating messages within a case
✋ Planning Center messages require some setup. Want this feature turned on? Email us at support@passare.com or call (800) 692-5111.
With Planning Center messages enabled, select any at-need case in the Passare mobile app to access messages.
Once inside a case, scroll left on the menu bar at the bottom until you see the Messages tab.
Tap Messages to open.
View and send messages
If no messages have been sent, you will see a card showing No messages yet.
Type in the text field to begin writing your message.
Tap send on your keyboard when your message is ready.
You will see a confirmation message asking if you want to send the message for the family to see in the Planning Center. This message will only appear for the first message you add to the case.
Messages from the mobile app are sent to the family in the Planning Center.
You can access the entire conversation from the Passare web or mobile app.
Manage notifications
Enable push notifications when messages are received to ensure nothing is missed.
Tap your profile in the top-left corner.
Then tap Notifications to access your notification settings.
Use the toggle next to New messages to enable push notifications when new messages are received.
With push notifications enabled, you will now get a notification when a message is received. Tapping on the notification will take you to the notifications page.
You can also tap the bell icon at the bottom of the screen anytime to see your notifications.
