Format

Once Life and Family information has been completed, the family will choose between the template or the AI writing assistant to generate the obituary. Templates are predefined by the funeral home and will use the information provided in the tool to fill in the blanks.

For the family to have access to these writing tools, you must enable them in Settings.

AI writing assistant

This option uses artificial intelligence to generate a unique obituary based on information in Passare and the information the family provides. When the family clicks Next, they will be asked to choose a Tone and Length for the obituary. A formal, standard-length obituary will automatically be generated, but this can be adjusted to the family’s preference in the tone and length dropdowns before clicking Create obituary.
