Decedent Tracking vs. Passare Mobile App

Location management

✋ Heads up! Before you begin, make sure you have downloaded the Passare mobile app.

Decedent Tracking app

In the Decedent Tracking app, users managed locations from the icon in the bottom menu. Then you would click New, add the location details, and Save.

Passare Mobile App

In the Passare mobile app, locations are managed from the settings menu. Go to your profile then locations to view location details. Tap the plus sign to add a new location.

Body tracking

Decedent Tracking app

In the Decedent tracking app, you could add information like case details, tracking ID, and location to the case.

Passare Mobile App

In the Passare mobile app, we kept these fields and added new ones like Description, Photo, and Signature. These fields help provide context and verify the actions taken by funeral home staff.

Item tracking

Decedent Tracking app

In Decedent Tracking app, items were added individually to the case.

Passare Mobile App

In the Passare mobile, app you can add items in bulk. This is especially useful when the funeral home staff collects several items at the time of pickup and needs to record them together.

You can also view chain of custody for the items, too!

In Decedent Tracking app, chain of custody was visible on the main case page with item details split into a separate tab.

Passare Mobile App

In the Passare mobile app, body and item details are visible on the Track page and chain of custody is found in an expandable history.
