Add & edit event types
Customize event types that appear on the Funeral Options page.

Add an event
From your navigation, click Settings.
Click Events > Services in the left menu.
Click Add event.
Under Basic event information, be sure to include the name, type, and description.
Check the box Include this service in the Daily Schedule of Services Report.

You can customize the service even more by selecting:
- This event is associated with a specific faith
- Body is present for this event
- Embalming is required for this event
- This event ends with a final disposition

Scroll down to Event options to set up service defaults.
Select whether the event is private or public, as well as the service's duration. You can use the slider or choose duration from the dropdown.

If you would like this event to create a Preparation due date in the Care Center, select how soon the body should be ready before this event.
For example: If bodies should be ready 2 hours before their visitation, select '2 hours before'
Under Preparation due branch, select if the corresponding preparation should default to a specific branch,
For example: If your care center is only located at Branch A, select that branch since it is where the body will be prepared

Search and select categories in the providers and venue options fields.
Adding categories here ensures they can be chosen as the venue or provider from the case.

Once you've made your selections, be sure to save!
Edit an event
From the Events page, select the service that you'd like to edit.

Make the desired changes and save!
Delete an event
Services can be deleted from the Events page by selecting the Trash Can to the far right.
Funeral options
Your events will appear in the dropdown on Funeral options page.

It will also appear when adding a case event from the Calendar.
